On pg. 39, Rowling writes, “Someone knew he had moved out of his cupboard and they seemed to know he hadn’t received his first letter.”
  • If they know this much from magic, shouldn’t they also know that he was being mistreated/neglected/abused?
  • Someone at Hogwarts knew that Harry was living in a cupboard beneath the stairs and did nothing to rectify the situation.
  • What are your thoughts on this?
