Death and Dying in the Wizard World
On pg. 53, Hagrid says, “How could a car crash kill Lily an’ James Potter? It’s an outrage! A scandal!”
- Are there special protection charms for wizards and witches driving cars?
- Are wizards and witches less susceptible to non-magical injuries?
- Why is it a scandal to think that a car crash could kill Lily and James Potter?
- Is it more difficult for wizards and witches to die by ordinary means? We know that during times of peace, they have longer life expectancies than muggles.
