Snape and Filch

Post by Admin on Sat Nov 07, 2015 4:44 pm

It initially appears as though Snape is cursing/hexing Harry during the quidditch game, but we later learn that he is muttering the counter-curse as Quirrell is cursing Harry.

  • What other instances can you think of so far when Snape appears guilty of something he isn’t actually guilty of?

On pg. 182, Snape says “How are you supposed to keep your eyes on all three heads at once?” to Argus Filch.

  • How much do you think Filch knows about what’s hidden under the trap-door?
  • Do the other professors, even those who weren’t involved in the protection of the stone, know?
  • Why would Filch know about Fluffy?
